Harry Potter Mobile

I made this for a friend who just had a baby and is a fellow Harry Potter fan. I embedded a magnet in the tip of piece of driftwood for the wand. There is a Hall Effect sensor in the mobile that detects the magnet and turns the device on and off. Like magic!
